Terms of Service

By accessing or using Gitsu at gitsu.app (“the Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree, please do not use the Service. These Terms incorporate our Privacy Policy by reference.

Gitsu is a desktop and web client for GitHub Projects v2, operated by Coduo Studio LLC (“Company,” “we,” “us”). It provides a keyboard-first interface for managing issues and projects stored in your GitHub account. Your project data never leaves GitHub — Gitsu reads and writes it through the GitHub API on your behalf.

You must be at least 16 years old to use Gitsu. By using the Service, you confirm that you meet this age requirement and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.

Gitsu uses GitHub OAuth for authentication. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your GitHub account and for all activity that occurs through your use of the Service. Notify us immediately at support@gitsu.app if you believe your access has been compromised.

Gitsu is a paid service offering subscription and lifetime purchase options. Payments are processed by Stripe. By purchasing, you agree to the following:

• Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing cycle unless cancelled before the renewal date. Upon cancellation, you retain access through the end of the current paid period.
• Lifetime purchases grant access to the Service indefinitely, subject to these Terms. The price is locked at the time of purchase.
• Refunds. You may request a full refund within 14 days of any purchase (subscription or lifetime) by contacting support@gitsu.app.
• Price changes. We may change subscription pricing with at least 30 days’ notice before your next billing cycle. Lifetime purchase prices may change at any time for new buyers but do not affect existing purchases.

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any purpose that violates applicable law.
• Scrape, crawl, or automate access beyond normal application use.
• Attempt to bypass security measures, rate limits, or access controls.
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Service.
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service.
• Share, resell, or redistribute your account access.

We reserve the right to investigate violations and may suspend or terminate access at our discretion.

Gitsu is a client application. All project data — issues, labels, milestones, project boards — lives in your GitHub account and is accessed through the GitHub API. We do not store, copy, or retain your project data on our servers. You retain full ownership of your data at all times.

Gitsu integrates with the following third-party services, whose terms also apply to your use:

• GitHub — authentication and project data. GitHub Terms of Service
• Stripe — payment processing. Stripe Services Agreement
• PostHog — product analytics. PostHog Terms of Service

We strive to keep Gitsu available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may perform maintenance, release updates, or modify features at any time. Since your data lives in GitHub, your projects remain accessible through GitHub’s own interfaces regardless of Gitsu’s availability.

Coduo Studio LLC owns all rights to the Gitsu name, logo, website design, source code, and user interface. These Terms do not grant you any rights to our intellectual property except the limited right to use the Service as intended. Your data and content remain yours — we claim no ownership or license over it.

• By you. You may stop using Gitsu at any time. Cancel your subscription through your account settings or by contacting us. You will retain access through the end of your paid period.
• By us. We may suspend or terminate your access for violation of these Terms, abusive behavior, or non-payment. For lifetime purchases, we will only revoke access for serious or repeated violations.
• Effect. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends. Since we do not store your project data, there is no data to export or delete — it remains in your GitHub account.

The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis, without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to the warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement. Coduo Studio LLC does not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Coduo Studio LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Service.

Our total aggregate liability for any claim arising from or related to these Terms or the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or USD $100, whichever is greater.

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain warranties or liabilities. In those jurisdictions, our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law, and the above limitations may not apply to you.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Coduo Studio LLC and its officers, directors, and employees from any claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party rights or applicable law.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Delaware.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted with a new “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Your continued use of Gitsu after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
